The compact substations are manufactured from galvanized steel. The main body is hot dip galvanized. The final paint is double component polyester paint.
These units are used for housing transformers and ring main units and low voltage distribution panels. They are being manufactured from galvanized steel and are very durable. Some uses are for highway lighting and power distribution for large sites.
The walls are isolated to 0,56 w/m²K and the ceiling to 0,41 w/m²K. Depending upon the weather conditions in the installed area, the necessary precautions are taken; such as air ducts, forced ventilation and heating to prevent moisture accumulation.
